Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt (1878-1955) was a Swedish-American painter and printmaker associated with the American Modernist movement. He was part of the Provincetown and Santa Fe art colonies and known for his still lifes, portraits, and bold woodblock prints. Nordfeldt’s work was characterized by simplified forms, strong outlines, and an expressive use of color. He taught at several institutions and remains a key figure in early 20th-century American art
